In February of 1864, Father died in Benton Wisconsin. He was only fifty-eight years old. When two of Father's friends buried him, they found a chain around his waist that he wore for penance. Skin was starting to grow over the chain. When they removed the chain from his body, there was a mark where it had been. | |
| They sent the chain to Sinsinawa Mound because he founded it. When people are badly hurt they call Sinsinawa Mound and people come to pray with the chain. | |
