PTO Minutes 3-21-11

I.                    Attendance:  Sara Feyen, Sarah Delaney, Stacy Oberman, Jen Montag, Lori Olmstead, Michelle Till, Mary Halbleib(Mr. Z rep), Bryan Reisen, Laurie Miller and Kim Mulgrew.  Meeting called to order 6:09pm.

II.                 Reviewed Minutes from 2-28-11.  Motion to approve by Jen Montag and seconded by Sara Feyen.

III.               Jen Montag reviewed the Treasurer’s Report.  Motion to approve by Lori Olmstead and seconded by Stacy Oberman.

IV.              Fundraising—Mary Halbleib, representative from Mr. Z Fundraiser came and spoke to the PTO.  Recommends adding an extra order to each packet.  They have upgraded the products and are selling more products that are “Made in America.”  The Carnival will be May 5^th.  They need an hour and half to set-up.  Thinking the start time was 8:30 last year.  Dates for the Fundraiser next year:  Start on August 30^th, end on September 15^th, send orders to Mr. Z’s on September 22^nd, and delivery on October 12^th.  They will send us a link to view regarding duct taping a teacher/administrator to a wall.

A.     Thumser’s  19^th Hole--Next one March 28^th

B.     Wendy’s-- Next one is April 19^th (Jen Montag will represent us) and May 17^th(Laurie Miller will represent us).

C.     Jumpin Janes—March 31^st

D.     Grand Harbor—still waiting on a contract

E.      Chrestnut—Great turnout!  Sara will check with Stacey to make sure everyone that needed a refund received that.

F.      Carlos O’ Kellys—we will continue selling coupon sheets.  Plan to set up a table at Conferences.  We will sell them for $5.  Any remaining sheets may be used for Teacher Appreciation Week.

G.     Mr. Z’s—Duct Taping details will be ironed out soon.  May 6^th.  Laurie and Stacey will be here.  Planning to schedule during the afternoon.  We will be finalized details at next month’s meeting.

V.                 New/Old Business

A.     Mr. Z’s Rep came(see above)

B.     Old Creamery—coming Thursday March 24, 2011

C.     JH Auction—donated $100

D.     By-Laws—should be added to the school website

E.      Funnel Net Climber—keeping the parts for a future malfunction will take pictures of it broken and submit to the company

F.      Lockers—On hold until further notice
