| Qualifying cartridges | East Dubuque Elementary & Junior High School Recycles Our school is participating in the FundingFactory recycling fundraiser. We collect empty laser and inkjet cartridges and used cell phones and recycle them for points we redeem for technology or sports equipment or even cash. Not all cartridges and cell phones are acceptable for the program. Previously remanufactured cartridges or cartridges that have been refilled are not acceptable. Complete lists of acceptable cartridges and cell phones are available at http://www.FundingFactory.com We send the empty cartridges and used cell phones to FundingFactory. FundingFactory helps schools and non-profit organizations with fundraising by paying points or cash for the recycled items. We check our points online, and can redeem the points for things like printers or digital cameras or computers.
WANTED: Business supporters! Businesses can help us out by recycling their own empty cartridges and used cell phones and designating our school as the beneficiary of the points. It is easy and it is FREE! FundingFactory will provide free shipping boxes with prepaid shippers. Businesses can be local or remote. For more about becoming a business partner, click here. Last year more than 300 million cartridges were thrown away and 30 million cell phones were replaced. We are reducing the amount or waste that goes to landfills while collecting points to replace technology equipment at our school.
